U.S. Balance Sheet. USDA’s World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates, published monthly by the World Agricultural Outlook Board: the U.S. balance sheet — what was produced, what is used and exported, and the stocks left at the end of the marketing year.
Crop Progress. USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service, Crop Progress: weekly condition ratings and planting, development and harvest progress, published Mondays at 4:00 p.m. ET for the week ending the previous Sunday, April through November.
Drought. The U.S. Drought Monitor, from the National Drought Mitigation Center, USDA and NOAA: a weekly map of conditions as of Tuesday morning, published the Thursday after.
Export Sales. USDA Foreign Agricultural Service, Export Sales Report: exporters’ weekly sales and shipments, published Thursdays at 8:30 a.m. ET for the week ending the previous Thursday.
Stocks & Acreage. USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service: Grain Stocks, the grain in all positions as of the first of March, June, September and December, and the year’s planted and harvested area from Prospective Plantings, Acreage and the Crop Production reports.
Canadian Grain. Canadian Grain Commission, Grain Statistics Weekly: producer deliveries, shipments, exports and stocks in the licensed grain handling system, by crop year (August to July); weeks end on a Sunday and are out the Thursday after.
