About Ray-Carroll

Ray-Carroll County Grain Growers, founded over 80 years ago in Missouri, began during the Great Depression when farmers formed cooperatives to market their grain. Established in 1931 with a $10 membership fee, the cooperative purchased grain elevators in Richmond, Hardin, Norborne, and Carrollton by 1934 and became Ray-Carroll County Grain Growers, Inc. Despite evolving services, Ray-Carroll has maintained its cooperative spirit, consistently supporting local farmers and rural communities.
