About Frontier Ag

​Frontier Ag, Inc. is a full-service, member-owned agribusiness cooperative serving customers throughout Northwest Kansas and Eastern Colorado. Established in March 2007 through the merger of Frontier Equity Exchange and Cooperative Agricultural Services, Inc., the cooperative has expanded its reach from the Colorado border to Ogallah along I-70, and from the Nebraska line south to Ransom and Utica along Highway 4. With over 20 locations and more than 200 employees, Frontier Ag manages approximately 70 million bushels of licensed storage space, positioning it as one of the largest agribusiness cooperatives in Kansas.

Grain services are a cornerstone of Frontier Ag's operations, offering a range of solutions to support local producers. The cooperative provides various grain contracts tailored to meet the diverse marketing needs of farmers, including cash bids, futures, and risk management tools. These services are designed to help producers navigate market fluctuations and optimize their grain marketing strategies. ​

As a member-owned cooperative, Frontier Ag operates on a patronage system, allowing members to share in the company's profits. Agricultural producers can apply for voting membership, while non-producers may become participating members. Upon approval and the purchase of initial stock, members are eligible to earn patronage based on their business with the cooperative.
